PADI Enriched Air diver certification/ NITROX course
This is one of the most popular specialty courses that PADI has to offer. Divers extend their bottom time by using enriched air especially with repetitive dives. NITROX allows divers to spend more time under water and less time on the surface. The NITROX course is for divers who like spending as much time as possible under water. This speciality become especially useful as more and more boats offer NITROX for their divers. Divers who dive NITROX report very often that they feel less fatigue after dives.
During the NITROX course you will learn why higher oxygen content allows you to spend time under water. At the end of the class candidate will meet the following objectives:
Learn how to manage oxygen exposure. Later on the student will lear to analyze and label tanks correctly. We are to study how set your dive computer to the appropriate settings.
The class is done locally the Houston area and no travel of any kind is necessary. Enriched Air Dives are not required for this course. Two dives with enriched air could be arranged with additional charge.
To participate in the NITROX course candidate needs to be:
An open (junior) water diver from any agency.
12 years of age.
Ready to learn the coolest physics
The price of the class includes the certification and necessary learning materials. No lake fees as the class doe not require us to dive.
